BE a Voice and not an Echo
-Unverified Author-
One quote that has so much depth in its simplicity.
Welcome, Curious Friend.
This is where you can learn a little about me. It is a brief snapshot of my whole life. If you are like me, then you have a natural curiosity to know more about the person behind the literary works you read. It gives more insight, depth, and connection. Some things we, as humans, always seek out. I hope you enjoy my site and stay for a while. I appreciate your visit.
Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it

-Confucius-
The quote did not hit home for me until I was an adult. Not seeing the real-life meanings and lessons as a child growing up the way I did made me who I am. Those moments are cherished now, even though they were not back then. Raised on a generational farm that had challenges, but it came with unique wonders at the same time. We worked hard and used our hands till they hurt. Helping my dad fix motors and machinery was a common theme throughout my younger years. And working cattle, other farm animals, and chores were a necessary part of my growing up existence. But I still found time to hike hills and valleys that remained virtually untouched by humans. Touching streams, trees, and rocks that most likely no other person had ever seen or explored. Seeing the cycles of life and death of animals and the passing of the seasons was a constant sight in my farm life. It was a view of how things turn in the world that caused me to pay even more attention to it all. Hearing the wind blow through tall, majestic pines on a ridge made you stop and listen. The abundance of springtime smells, the summer hayfields, and the crispness of cold winter air were always present in my memory.

BE still and know that i am God
The quote is one of my most beloved. Not because of the religious meaning it held, as when I was younger. It now holds a deep spiritual meaning: looking within to find a universe of meaning and purpose. Just like me, when I did have free time, daydreaming under a hundred-year-old oak trees. Or when walking barefoot in the dew-soaked grass and reflecting on why I was on this earth. I did read anything I could get my hands on to learn and search for meaning for myself. I did enjoy watching fantasy and sci-fi TV with my dad, and drawing was my late-evening pastime when I came in from outdoor chores or roaming. These are the moments and memories that forged the polymath’s spirit in me. Scientific curiosity was not an abstract pursuit but a survival skill—understanding the intricate biology of native flora while tracing the trajectory of high-frontier constellations across the velvet midnight sky. Walking on snowy, moonlit nights offered the opportunity to experience nature while witnessing the wonder of the starry sky. It made you feel like you had true individual freedom and were part of something more in this world and beyond. Such things in my childhood gave me a unique perspective: that the everyday science of life is inextricably linked to the mysterious wonder of the stars above.
-Psalms 46:10-
There is no good or bad, Just the Experience

-F.W. Montgomery-
I get mixed reviews when I say this quote. It seems most people like to assign a positive or negative feeling to every outcome in their lives. But some have taken tragedy in their lives and turned those seemingly negative experiences into what drives them towards success. Some ask, "Are you a victim or survivor? " Meaning what frame of mind are you putting the situation in. What doesn't kill you, and you know the rest. All quotes about perseverance and mindset. I see all things and situations as learning experiences. Hence, my polymath spirit and quest for learning. So taking it all in, good or bad, and using it to push forward to be a better version of myself.
